I am trying to rebuild my BMX from 1986. The company, Randor, doesn't seem to be around anymore. Does anyone know where hard to find parts, and OEM decals might be found?
there may be some old BMXer from EBAY ( www.ebay.com) who has your spare parts. Or read 'Lowrider'----the ones with the NASTY designed bicycles you see on the cover. They have shops that sell VINTAGE parts .
Scion, Gaia, Partner to Give "pimping" Powers to Teens Online
Scion, Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc.’s marque for the young (and the young at heart) and Gaia Online, the fastest growing hangout for teens on the web yesterday announced a joint partnership that will allow Gaia members to buy and customize virtual versions of Scion cars – and “pimp” them.
Beginning with the virtual Scion xB available today, Scion is the first auto maker to introduce its vehicles to the more than two million teens who visit Gaia every month.
After getting their virtual Scion xB, Gaia members can 'pimp their rides' with customizable options such as wheels, decals, fog lights, tail lights, spoilers, exhaust and more. More exciting activities that Gaia members can participate include forums dedicated to car culture and virtual drag racing competitions. They can also socialize at drag races, as well as nominate their cars for accolades within Gaia's arenas. The more enterprising members can trick out and sell cars in Gaia's marketplace for Gaia Gold, the currency of the Gaia economy.
"Teens spend hours every day on Gaia because there are endless opportunities to have fun, socialize and express their creativity. Customizing Scions is an exciting new way for our members to do all three," said Craig Sherman, CEO, Gaia Online. "Teenage obsessions with cars go back more than half a century, so bringing Scion into the Gaia community is a great new way to fulfill that interest."
Beyond the Scion personalization options, drag races and other features available today, Gaia will introduce new ways to modify cars and activities involving vehicles in the future.
"Gaia has created immersive experiences for sponsors around New Line Cinema's movie The Last Mimzy and Time Warner's movies Gracie and Nancy Drew, and the uptake by Gaia members has been phenomenal. We believe these sponsorships represent some of the highest engagement between brands and online communities on the web, and we expect the same kind of intense interest and participation for the Scion partnership," added Sherman.
Gaia Online is a fun, social environment online where teens can make friends and express their individuality through customizable avatars and homes -- and as of today -- cars. The site combines elements of social networking, virtual worlds, casual gaming and narrative entertainment. The Gaia community boasts more than two million unique users per month (up three fold from a year ago), with members spending an average of more than two hours on the site per day, with forums exceeding a billion postings with a million new posts being added each day.

Renegade Rev Do you think all children of abusive Christians become atheist?
The following is a link to a website by Nate Phelps, son of the infamous Rev. Fred Phelps of Westboro Baptist Church. I just had a chance meeting with him and gained a new perspective on this renegade church and now just think all of these kids of his are hapless victims, and it makes me weak inside that such a good man as Nate is atheist because of abusive Christians. What do you think?

@ Sara b You read into it something I did not say and did not mean, I know all Christians are not abusive(generalizations are generally wrong) and actually this question is posed because I personally am the product of an abusive man who thought he was uber-Christian and yet I am Christian as well as you, and I also would not abuse a child.
There are many reasons why people convert from one faith to another and vice versa. Can abusiveness be a contributing factor. Certainly. But I would suggest that may be do to someone who is being intellectually dishonest with himself. Why. because we all know people within our belief system or other belief systems who are not abusive. So why throw rationality out the window? I believe there is usually other factors involved and the abusive parent is simply one venue that can be exploited when one wants an exit strategy. If I say my Christian parent is a hypocrite and nothing like Christ I am admitting that although Christ may good my parent is not like Christ. So I can infer either Christ was not true or my parent is failing to live up to his standard. I have yet to see anyone point out Jesus hypocrisy.
