Cat Kids how can i keep my house clean with to kids and a cat?
i have to clean every single day and im really tired
have you got some spare room to make a play room for the children ? if not i suggest taking half of their toys away and store them for a few months ,then swap them over ,meantime put the kids and the cat outside for a few hours and clean one room at a time ,lock off or put up a barrier in a doorway to keep them out of the cleaned parts of the house .give them a box with some of their toys in and let them play with those for the day .encourage them to pick up after themselves ,don't let them into the cleaned parts of the house .let them have one part for them to play in and make a mess .don't give them food or lollies to eat wherever they play ,eat only at the table ,have a face washer handy to wipe hands and face to stop sticky hands getting onto furniture etc. much easier to clean one room where they have been all day ,unless they are outside ,than the whole house when they had the run of the house ..outside games can be fun too in warm weather give them a small pail of water and some paint brushes and tell them to ''paint the house ''the water won't hurt the house and they will be amused for hours. get a sand pit for them and help them to make mud pies . be prepared to wash them down after this game . make a garden with them that is their garden ,plant some easy flowers like marigolds .kids love to play with boxes outside too all different sizes and shapes .they will climb into and out of them for ages .see that the kids run around the yard if the weather permits and no afternoon naps .they will be so tired they will go to bed earlier and you can have a rest

How and what to tell my kids about our cat that may pass soon?
I have a 4 and 6 year old, they have never had anyone or any pet other than a goldfish die. Our cat is 19 and is not doing well at all. We are taking her to the vet tomorrow and I sadly feel tomorrow will be her last day with us. I have thought about what and how I should tell them but, I dont know. any suggestions. nothing about being sick, I dont want them to be afraid if they or someone close to them gets sick.
I agree with many of the others. Tell them the truth. As you suggested I would avoid words like sick and sleep. Your 6 year old may be able to understand those words, your 4 year old may be confused.
Be prepared for a lot of questions. My father-in-law died when my daughter was 3-4years old. I was scared at first because the questions were hard and often. I explained that Grandpa went to heaven to help the Angels and God paint the world--he was an artist. The questions went on for a while with my daughter, almost a year. Most were about heaven, God and how the angels lived.
If you believe, you may say something like your cat went to help catch mice in Heaven...or keep God's lap warm. Something your cat did often and that your kids enjoyed.
They may surprise you too. I hate to say it, they may accept it and move on quicker than you. Chances are since you probably had the cat longer then they were alive you have more of an attachment. They may actually try to comfort you.
Snow Exhaust Pipe Truck running hard/not starting right after ditching?
My 1994 Chevy s10 now will take 3 or 4 tries to start after a semi ran me off a snow covered country road into a ditch. I opened the hood and found that the pipe running from my exhaust manifold to my catylitic converter is only being held together by two bolts with no nuts and there is a gap between the two flanges. The bolts have some sort of springs but the nuts are missing and seems as if it could come apart at any time. Could this be the reason for the trouble starting? It's not the battery because it turns over every time, just it will attempt to start but almost stutter and stall.
yes it could very well be that those bolts are your exhaust bolts and the lack of back pressure is limiting your performance. makes your idle very rough

1995 Silverado (Custom Exhaust) Fun in the Snow
How can you get the frozen cone off the top of the septic exhaust pipe without climbing a snow filled roof?
We have septic, and we are smelling sewer in our basement. When looking at the top of the roof, I notice that the exhaust pipe is blocked by ice. Since there is snow on the roof, it is impossible to climb up there and remove. Lately it has been well below zero, and in part might be the problem. Do I have to wait until it warms up, or is there something I can do?
Pray for sun......By the way, you should not be smelling sewer gas in the cellar, regardless....Have you got a sink or a washing machine drain trap that is unused??? If there is a trap that is dry the gas will come in through there..The water in a trap is designed to keep the gas out......
