Aftermarket Snowmobile Parts
Where to find aftermarket parts for older snowmobile??
I have a 1990 Polaris Indy 400 and I'm looking for a bottle booster, a pipe, and some upgraded reed valves. Any suggestions where to go??? Thanks in advance!
p.s. The dealerships are not an option. They cannot locate the parts, but I know they exist. Ebay has a very limited supply, as well as craigslist.
Try Central Snowmobile Salvage. They have all kinds of used parts for older model sleds. there's a few others to try also. good luck

Bk Boat n Sled's "I Bang Ditches." Commercial
I am currently in a dispute with a new motorcycle shop regarding a new snowmobile I purchased. ?
I walked into the shop, pointed at a machine and told them I wanted it. They drafted the paperwork, and I came back the next day with the 50% down payment (bank check that was cashed by them) and the rest was financed (which was approved). Off I go…
3 weeks later, they call and tell me that my 'account' has a balance on it of $500.00 for aftermarket parts that were previously installed on the machine. I tell them that I am not paying the 500 and if they want the machine back, I will gladly comply. This is not acceptable to them and they are still trying to come after me for the balance. These parts were on the machine when I saw it on the floor and at no time did I request that they order or install any extra parts. Any suggestions?
I'd imagine there's a bill of sale and a finance contract that both say you paid $XXX for the machine with no provisions for them to randomly decide they want more.
Call the bank/finance company and see what they think.
Think of it this way; what would they do if you came back and said it's not worth what you paid, and you want $500 back.

Oh, I forgot to mention, that I think that Cindy Crawford is much prettier than Sarah Palin. This makes me an expert, as Ken says, on the comeliness of the female species, because, think: if I'm the one arbitrating the beauty of someone so high in office as to almost become president, I MUST be an excellent judge. SP has that big fat square Alaskan lower jaw, which, OK, let's face it, reminds us all of the Governator.
And then you also must think of these: All those little kids scurrying around Blair House, with the maids and butlers and all, and never having moose on the plate, wondering where to get skates sharpened, worrying about where to find snowmobile parts, etc.
