Brake Caliper Lever what is wrong with my dirt bike's front brake?
I have bleed my front brake on my 2001 yz 80, but there is still no
tension on the brake lever.In other words, when you pull the lever,
you cant feel any resistance from the brake fluid. the brake pads
do not even budge, they dont grab disk at all. I am using dot3 brake
fluid, even though I am supposed to be using dot4, but I would expect
at least some results from dot3. I cant find any leaks in the caliper,
master cylinder or lines. can some plze tell me what might be wrong?

You are aware that using a different brake fluid can weaken or destroy the brake line and rubber thru out the system aren't you? Unless you know what brand of fluid was used before you need to use a fluid like Castrol's universal brake fluid (exact product name is escaping me right now) and it should be DOT 4 and not 3 for your system. 4 is designed to work hotter than 3. I have had to replace brake hoses that seemed okay on the outside, but inside were all messed up because the fluids were not compatible.
As for why you have no pressure at the lever-it could be the fluid was not compatible and you need to rebuild the master cylinder, or the seals went, or even the brake hose internals went. As others have said you need to take the line off the brake and make sure you have fluid coming out down there. Then bolt it back up and open the brake bleeder and after attaching a small hose to it and letting it drain into a clean can filled with about an inch of fluid, pump the brake lever. Sometimes even if you use the proper fluid and do every thing correct there is still air in the system. If you have tried everything else, then try moving the hoses around and then let the system go for 12 hours or more. Then when you return try again. Usually this will allow the air to travel back up to the master and then you can start bleeding all over again.
