can i make my snowmobile not run on 110 octane?
hey, i want to buy this snowmobile however it has racing heads that require 110 octane gas. i was wondering if theres anything i can do without spending a ton of money to make it run on pump gas. or can i put in octane booster? and is there such thing as putting in to much booster and damaging the engine?... thanks any help would be awsome!
Better to go with 110. Chances are the motor has been designed around this for power. If you want something stock buy something stock.
Compression ratio, cam, heads all have something to do with why this needs to be run on 110 octane.
If you use octane booster and it doesn't meet the fuel specs of what the engine is set up to run you take the chance of blowing it.
