Cat Skid

My healthy. 2-year old cat keeps leaving "skid marks" on my light beige carpet. Any solutions or reasons why ?
For those who don't understand. she is wiping her bottom on my carpet.
This is a fairly common problem with cats who have impacted anal glands. I would recommend making an appointment to your vet. They will need to be expressed, as if they are left untreated, you run the risk of having the anal gland rupture.
Expressing is pretty easy thing for a vet to do, and doesn't cost a whole lot of money.

Once upon a time people used to hunt animals for their meat and skin. The meat used to keep them well fed and the skin well protected from the vagaries of nature. As they progressed in evolution, the animal skins found a place in their homes first used as sleeping rugs and later for beautification.
