Gallon Clear

Can i put my red ear sliders in a clear steralite 50 gallon tub?
I want to give them more swimming space will it be okay will it get more colder than the tank át. Night
Hi there,
A tub is fine, just make sure you have proper lighting.. Including heat lamps.. What concerns me is it's only 50 gallons, 1 RES shouldn't even be in a fifty gallon, you should have around 60 gallons and up per red eared slider, I have two red eared sliders and they are in a 300 gallon aquarium together, they've been this way since the where tiny little babies now they are both five and around 7 inches in length, if they are babies and a 50 gallon is just temporary then it is fine, but full time is not good.
Hope this helps.. For more information, feel free to email me: mrlmrlmrl09
