John Deere Snowmobile Seat

Polaris Classic Snowmobile Seat?
I am looking to upgrade from my 1995 XLT triple and am looking at early 2003 and up Polaris Classic's - hopefully a 800. I do have my 4 year old son ride with me quite a bit - and was wondering if you can simply add the "second" seat to a classic and make it a "touring" sled. I know it was pretty easy on an old John Deere Trailfire my dad had when I was a kid. If anyone knows please drop me an answer.
Thank you!!
Yes... You can add simply add the "second" seat, to a 2003 Polaris Classic... All you need to do, is to pick the company, you want to purchase the second seat kit from. Many companies handle these, for example, Dennis Kirk, and so on. You can go on the internet, and type in the item you want, in this case, it would be the second seat, for a 2003 Polaris Classic, and, all kinds of dealers will come up, on the screen. However, these will be "after market" add ons, from these companies.and, sometimes, they don't fit properly, causing the owner to have to modify things, so it will fit. And, for what a person has to pay, for these items, they should fit, exactly, with no modifications, what so ever, at least in my opnion, anyway. Further more, what it will cost you, for the sled, itself, is a something, as well. You don't want to have to pay a lot of money, for the sled, just to have to modify it, so a "after market" item fits correctly, right? So, what I would do, is to go to the local Polaris dealer, and price the "second" seat kit, right from the Polaris dealer, themselves. True, it may cost more, from the Plolaris dealer, but, getting it right from them, insures a perfect fit, cause it was made by Polaris... For Polaris. No modifing needed.
