I'm Seriously Considering This?
My neighbor who's 16 or 17, my age. Just got some new moped/scooter thing. The damn thing is SO loud. All he does, after he gets home from school is drive up and down the street. I'm tempted to wait in front of my driveway with a broomstick and just give it to him.
No, the novelty probably won't wear off for him before the sound of it makes your head explode. I had one of these things on my street, and that's how it went, every day from the time school let out until after dark, up and down the street, up and down, up and down. I finally caught the little ba...tyke one day an my way out and told him that the scooter was not street legal and that if he didn't stop riding it every day I would call the cops and have it impounded.
That talk worked, but only because his older brother, with whom he lived, was also selling drugs from their house and didn't "want no cops comin' around".
Anyway, "street legal" is the operative term in that story...If it isn't, then he shouldn't be riding it on the street at all, ever.
