Driving safety in Norway ?
If your riding a motorcycle around the mountanous Mo i Rana area on E6 or any other sub road by the artic racetrack,
since its not the coast but rather the mountains leading into Sweeden,
is it dangerous riding day or night ?
are there wolves, bears, trolls any dangers like that. Do people even ride bikes or scooters around that region ? see here in the US if you were in the Colorado mountains or the Dakota plans, I dont think riding anything but an SUV would be safe in the country roads and stuff.
E6 is the main road from the south to the north of Norway. It has traffic on it at almost any time of the day. Providing your motorcycle is in good condition, and your lights are working properly (so you can see and be seen) and if you keep to public roads maintained by the municipality and national government you should be OK. If you start venture off the track and into privately owned areas then the roads could of course range from nothing or a dirt track to properly paved roads.
There are no trolls. There might be wolves or bears if you are really far off the main roads, but they are very rare. You might occasionally see a moose or reindeer, but again, if you stick to the common roads there should be warning signs about it (unless someone stole the sign which some tourists do).
While a lot of people in Norway complain about the road conditions they are not *that* bad
