Plastic Snowmobile
should I be using Loctite on my snowmobile track?
On the studs. I have a stock 1 inch lug track with 1 1/4 inch studs. I put the studs in with loctite on the lock nuts and torqued them to 13 foot pounds. then realised loctite isnt made for plastic, like the plastic inside of my lock nuts. am I screwed?
No you should be fine. It doesn't really even matter if you used that at all, because most people (including me) don't use any type of glue or sealant to secure the nuts at all. As long as you put them on there tight, they won't be falling off anytime soon.
