i just put my 2006 arctic cat F7 E.F.I. back together after doing a few modifications and bolt ons to it, how long should i run it before i check the plugs? I milled the head, put a fuel pressure reducer on it, v firce 3 reeds, and a d&d y pipe.
How about running the thing across a lake wide open for 10 minutes, if it does not nose over with a melted piston, it's good to go. If it does melt a piston, it's too late for the plug check...
2008 Ski-Doo REV XP MXZX 800R vs. 2003 Arctic Cat ZR900
2003 arctic cat f7?

V-force delta3 reeds, full pipe or (if you can't afford that) just an aftermarket silincer, power programmer, boost bottle, thinner headgasket (increase in compression so you will need to run premium fuel if not 110 or above race gas). Thats about all that can be done on a budget.
If you are tearing in to the engine call speedwerx (651)982-6020 and talk to Jeremy. They build arctic cat race engines for the factory arctic car sno-cross team.
