Rev Snowmobile have a 08 diamo torino and cant troubleshoot why it does NOT run.?
I think its the carb.... not sure. It will idle (albeit roughly) but will NOT rev without a micro spritz of ether. haven't seen ANY signs of a befouled fuel system. The lady that owns it said she tried to run it with old gas but it wouldn't start, I freshened it with brand new gas (just to get it home to work on it for her) and drained all of it, replaced with new 91 octane. I also threw in a little bit of seafoam. I have a lot of experience with cleaning snowmobile carbs and all the rigamarole involved with seasonal junk with snowmobiles. This thing hasn't been run since last summer, and I thought that the procedures would be the same, except that there is NO visible signs of dirty gas, other than smelling old. nothing.
It only takes the tiniest bit of “junk” to varnish or block a needle, you wouldn't necessarily see anything. Check the rubbers around the carb too.
I was wondering if anyone knew a website where I could find snowmobile revving sounds. I have webjal and know how to get it to my phone, just want a site that would have sounds of snowmobiles. Thanks!!
record your snowmobile sounds and bring them to nextel store. they can download them.
