Fuel Cover Will my pension increase of £2-40p cover the fuel,heating,and VAT increases?

the arm has snapped on my cars fuel cover so i cannot shut the flap, it keeps opening when im driving?
i am in the uk, when i go to fill up i usually pull a lever which opens the fuel flap so i can fill up, now it wouldnt open one day so i manually tried to, and in the process snapped a little bit of plastic off. now the flap will not close. can it be easily replaced???
i dont know if i explained properly. it is not the twisty cap, but the actual door which sits flush with the side panel. it flicks open when the lever is pulled from inside the car, the catch which keeps it shut has come off. i think that is a better explanation...does your advice still apply???
Most cars have a cable in the trunk or hatch back area that also will open the fuel door.
If your does not have this, it is easy to replace the one that is broken.
Funny Stickers Decals Chiefs of Police Sticker / Decal?
Hi all,
I was just wondering if the Chiefs of Police Sticker / Decal that is sent with a pledge / donation actually does any good. The letter I got with the decal states that it should be displayed on the rear window. It is funny though, that the decal states "displaying this decal does not confer any special privelege, benefit, or membership to the donor."
I guess they can't say all out that there is a benefit, but I was wondering what you're interpretations were. I actually have one family friend that actually called one of these places and asked what the benefit was. The officer/rep she spoke to said "I won't say there IS a benefit, but I won't say there ISN'T one either." Whatever that means, lol.
Does anybody have any experience with this?
It's the attitude, not the sticker that means something.
