I want to cover the buttons on my jacket,do button covers exist?
I bought a nice jacket that has got kind of tacky big buttons, while i know i can probably have someone change the buttons or change the buttons myself i am instead looking for the easy quick fix,so bear with me.
What i have in mind is finding some sort of button covers made of cloth that would fit and attach tightly over the existing buttons without having to make any changes to the buttons themselves and still look somewhat presentable. If someone knows something about these type of things i would appreciate it if you point me in the right direction.
You can buy a button covering kit at Hancock's or JoAnn Fabrics & Crafts, but you have to also buy a certain kind of button. The back of the button comes off, you place the fabric on the face of the button, tuck in the fabric with the kit, and then replace the back of the button. It is not hard at all, but you're going to have to remove the buttons that are on your jacket now.
