Tank Fuel Tank How much to replace the fuel tank in a Chevy Blazer?
My fuel tank is rusted through and leaks gas. I took it to a mechanic and he quoted me "4 to 5 hundred dollars" for a new tank and labor to install it. To me this seems a little steep. A new tank costs 85-125 and so I dont understand where the rest of his quote is coming from. Any ideas?
