Carburetor Universal Where can i buy carburetor rebuild kits for a robin 10 hp engine?
Or are these rebuild kits mostly universal for briggs, tecumseh, ect.?
It is a subaru robin
Drop into any small engine shop. If they don't have it they can either order it for you or point you on the right direction. Personally I would choose a Wisconsin engine dealer. Wisconsin/Robin Check the yellow pages for closest dealer.
hey my 150cc dirt bike carb is having idling issues PLZ HELP!!?
I can see that the jet needle was bent a little bit when i got the bike so i bend it back to the 90 degree so it would more likely fit in the carburetor. i probably need a new jet needle because my guess is that its hitting the side of that hole and then falls down. It usually starts with a good idle and then it grows until it sounds full throttle. i cant find the exact brand of the carburetor so should i try to find a jet needle that will work i mean are these things pretty universal or should i just get a whole new carburetor.
Oil Coolant At what temp do i need to worry about my oil/coolant freezing?
I live in northern Michigan, an its going to get around -20 in 3 days. Do i need to worry about my oil or coolant freezing? What about my transfercase fluid and differential fluid?
also -20F , not C
A fifty- fifty mix of antifreeze, propylene or ethylene glycol, will freeze at about -60 F.
Fluid in axles and transfer cases is usually gear oil, it will get thick when cold but a few miles of driving will take care of that. BTW, you can idle a car all day and it won't effect the gear oil since they aren't moving.
Automatic transmission fluid will thicken up a little in the cold, but it heats up with idling and driving. manual transmissions start to warm up when you start the car, since the shafts are spinning.
Just start slow for the first few miles and you should be fine.
Cover xlt Cannot find 2004 Ford Ranger Skid Plate?
Hey guys,
I have been trying and trying, but cannot find a GOOD skid plate that covers (almost) the entire front/mid section of my 2004 ford ranger xlt 4.0l 4x4.
I have seen some models with "Bull Bars", however I live in Rhode Island, I don't really think they will be necessary. I just want a good skid plate that will cover the front half of my truck, so that if I do happen to hit a huge rock or "bottom out", that I won't do any damage to my engine and transmission/working parts, etc. I've heard of some models covering the ENTIRE bottom of a truck, and that would be cool too. I just want to be able to keep my truck safe while I'm offroading.
I would hope a skid plate would be easy to install with just a couple of screws, I can't weld or do anything out of the ordinary.
I was looking for the upto $200 pricerange, however it is okay if you go a tiny bit over. The cheaper, the better.
Thank you very much!
You can make one yourself out of UHMW plastic (Ultra High Molecular Weight) similar to the cutting board. It work great for snow and mud, cause it would just slide under the truck. Its very easy to cut and form to the size. I got mine from the local industrial supply. You want at least a 1/2 inch thick for best result.
05 FORD F-150 Supercab 145" XLT BRUSH GRD TOW BED COVER
ford ranger 4.0 v6 4x4 1993?
I have a 1993 ford ranger xlt 4.0 v6, there is a clicking noise comming from the left side of the engine at about 2600 rpm when i comming up the highway. any one know what that sound is, sounds like under the valve cover.
Stick a small hose in your ear and poke it around so you can pinpoint the source of the sound. It could also be a leaky exhaust manifold- through a bad gasket or a crack in the manifold. If it's a noisy valve rocker, it should be noisy all the time. Just to be thourough, check your oil and make sure you have enough.
