Smoke Windshield I have a 2000 Xterra that smoke everytime I come to a stop.?
I have a 2000 Xterra w/ 64000K. I just recently got it fixed after being in a wreck. Everything worked perfect for about 3 days. Now I notice that every time I stop, especially when I put it in park, a lot of white smoke seaps from under the hood right in front of the passenger side closer to the windshield than the front of the car. I have started to smell Anti freeze in the car and strong outside of it, but there are no puddles or any sign of it leaking coolant. However the last time I stopped in my driveway I could hear something sizzling somewhere under the hood, but never could figure out where. It was something obviousley leaking out. Has anyone ever had trouble with this before on Xterra's? or is it most likely something that was caused from my wreck?
one of your cooling hoses has a leak, sounds like yours might be one of the heater hoses that connect to the heater core on the firewall
The song "Bugs On The Windshield"--Parody of "Smoke On The Water"
I have a film on the inside of my front windshielf. None of us smoke. ?r=1222279446?
The hot sun may be causing something from the cloth upholstery or dashboard. What do you use to remove the film from the inside of the windshield?
That is formed by chemicals leaching out of your trim, carpets, etc. I suggest a window cleaner without ammonia. You sure don't want to use Windex or anything like that.
Frame Chain How would i use jacks & chains to bent frame back to place it is bent upware but has to come downware?
On the bed side of the truck the frame bent upware leaving the bed uneven now how would i use jacks to bent downware about a inch. with no support to but presure for the top so i could place jack or could give me an idea thank you.
You can chain down the middle where the bend is and then place jacks at each end and apply pressure to bend it straight.Of course you have to find somewhere to anchor the chain to the ground such as an eyebolt set into concrete.Really though it should be done by a body shop to make sure it's done right or you could cause handling problems and strange tire wear
I parked on the street last night and i got a parking ticket. In the winter where i am from you have park on a certain side each night, so when the snow plows come down the street your car isn't in there way. Well last night I parked on the right side of the street. I know this because there were other cars on the side i was on. And also i didn't park in a no parking zone! I looked everywhere for signs because the fine said that i did. How do i fight this? P.s. I live in WI
Go to the judge like you would do to fight a ticket and plead not guilty and say that no crime was committed.
