Piston Kit Pistons where can iget a cheap piston kit for kx125 1990?
i can't remember the name of the company, but I replaced my piston a couple years ago on an '86 kx125. They always advertised in the motocross action magazine, but I haven't read it in a while, so I'm not sure if they still do. Also, google Dennis Kirk, and Chaparral motorsports
What about the xtra 10 because i need to put one in my 89 indy. will it raise the rear end?? if so how much?? Will i need a longer track?? i need to get something because my studs are ripping the tunnel apart. i have already put the heat extanger tubes under the seat.
I was wondering if there was no racing , would the cars today be the same or would they be not as good?
I got into a little arguement with my friend, i like racing and told him that cars today would not be so updated and look different today if there was never racing, I like NASCAR racing but i am talking about all kinds of racing drag racing, sprint cars.. So what do u think? I found out that the rear view mirror was invented during the indy 500, so if u have any facts or anything i wouild like to know what u think. Thanks...
i would like facts, anybody got that?
A heck of a lot of the technology developed to make race cars fast has found its way into road cars.

sorry it's hard to see, but there is a small hole there in front of the needle jet (it is a hole in the carb body, not the brass hole the needle slides through.)
1.does that hole lead to the pilot jet? and if so,
2.what would the effect be of making it (the hole I am pointing at, not the pilot jet) smaller, and
3. what would the effect be of making it bigger?
I don't need a detailed explanation of the workings of the entire carburetor and it's jets, just this hole. thanks
Most holes in that area eventually end up as a vacuum port on the outside of the carburetor. If the ports are being used and you make it larger then it will create a larger vacuum. Those ports were commonly used on things like the vacuum advance on older distributors. There would be no benefit to the performance of the carburetor to modify it.
ive failed 4 times, and i dont wanna fail again. does anyone know:

Formula Grand touring How is GP Tours for booking a Formula-1 race weekend?
I'm looking for feedback from anyone who has tried using Grand Prix Tours (www.gptours.com) to book a F-1 race weekend. How did it turn out? Was it well worth the extra money? Did you get any sort of pit passes or pit lane walk through? Which race did you go to and would you book again with them?
I have never been with them but i have been twice with select motor racing. they are brilliant. you will have to buy your own ticket, but they are a lot cheaper than most others. Kevin the owner and his wife Donna are fans and they make the trip brilliant. they take you places and make the journey fun too. take a look at their web page. they give transfers to and from the track and they are really fun people to travel with.
