yamaha brake lines or brake upgrade?
I have a yamaha fazer 600 2001 I want to upgrade my brakes ive just fitted brand new gold pads to the front and reaer but still would like more from them i have been thinking about changing to stainless steel brakelines would this improve the performance if not what else is available many thanks
The Fazer has the blue spot one piece calipers which were first used on the Thunderace & Thundercat models. These brakes are famous for their power and feel, and are still used today on the latest performance Yams. I really doubt that you need to upgrade them. Providing the fluid is changed every two years and the calipers are kept clean and fitted with good quality pads you should have all the braking performance could possibly need.

Sore fingertips from guitar?
I've just started playing an acoustic steel stringed Yamaha guitar. I know you usually get sore finger tips from holding down the steel strings to the frets, but didn't expect it to be this bad 
Even typing this is painful on my fingertips. I know callouses will develop, but until then, how can I lessen the pain! I don't want to stop playing, what do I do?
Until the calluses develop, try to tough it out. The only pain that isnt good in guitar is if your hand starts to actually cramp up. Then stop immeadiately or you can get tendonitis. But pain on the very tips of your fingers where you push down on the strings is extremely good and shows you are practicing well... I'd take a break if it hurts to type though, or maybe practice on an electric guitar or a nylon-stringed.
