Zone Sign
When you reach a school zone, does the school zone only count when your PAST the sign?
I'm driving, the 20 mph light is blinking back and forward, I keep going the normal speed limit, when I reach the blinking lights, I only go 20 mph AFTER I pass the sign?
I pretty much obey all traffic laws, not even for getting tickets, but 1) to keep MYSELF safe first off and 2) Keep others safe.
No tickets =)
The speed limit begins at the sign. You are required to do all your slowing prior to the sign.

In Manitoba does someone have to slow down from the already posted speed sign when coming up to a school zone?
If the posted speed is 60K and then there is a yellow sign suggesting a school zone and then once past the school zone there is a posted 60K sign again, does one have to slow down to 50K in the school zone
You have to slow down to the posted school zone speed limit.
